I think that Winter guy’s a nutter … attacking Mr Stout like that.
Makes you wonder about Dick’s detecting playgrounds though! Sidewalks, tot lots, abandoned 1948 homesteads, ball parks and now lovers’ lanes looking for rings that have been tossed! The mind boggles!
Hee hee–I think Mr. Stout can handle it, he’s taken on some tough topics in the past. I guess everyone has their own idea of what creates a good detecting venue. Apparently passion is worth cashing in on,
Oh dear John, so many innuendos springing to mind but, maybe best left unsaid !!
Do you remember the series of documentaries on TV during the 90’s about the early war years ? and the impact it had on peoples relationships both married and courting.
It showed that when the men returned from long stretches of service,(several years in some cases) the closeness the couples had before they were separated had gone and it was like the two people had never met, to the point that they were strangers again…. sorry I’m digressing…
Well on a similar note the ladies who were left behind still had “needs” for want of a better word and when having a casual encounter would use an item that resembled a male phallus even before the item was donned, I mean they were like a quarter of an inch thick….. by the sounds of it the American versions were much more hi-tec…. or am I wrong ?
Yikes! Are you insinuating my unusual attachment to the pro-pointer has something to do with it’s shape?
Me thinks the above replies are the blogger himself, and another Brit. They need to find someone else to pick on, or else I shall be obliged to share my “heretofore untold stories” about them. Not sure however that they would be fit for print.
