You may have heard the sad news that Dick Stout, long time detectorist, author and founder of the FMDAC (Federation of Metal Detector and Archeological Clubs) suffered the tragic loss of his home to a tornado last night.
Thankfully Dick, his wife Fay, and their dogs are okay and currently staying with family.
Let us in the detecting community, show our support to Dick in this time of crisis by donating what we can to help him out in his time of need.
Dave Wise has started a Gofundme page where donations to Dick and his family can be made. You can click on the link below to go to the page and make your donation directly:

Glad to hear everyone is safe.
Yes, thankfully!
Allison,
I’m glad to hear Dick and family got out in time…..it’s unfortunate for this to happen especially over the holiday season.

Yes, it’s very tragic, I can’t even begin to imagine how I would feel to lose my home. But the main thing is, they are all safe.
Good luck & God Bless You All. You are in our prayers.
Peace
That is very nice of you to pass along this request for help It does show this group actually cares for its members Thanks for all the good work you do
Thank you Ron. I’m sure Dick appreciates it. We do have a great community of folks out there!
