Finally got out and the detecting Gods were kind enough to bless me with a King George (date illegible), probably ’cause it was only a half inch down. They also gave me a nice silver bookmark, and the hallmarks date it to 1924.
I found some odd shaped items with B, C#, and D on them. I assume 
they go to some type of instrument, a piece to something which has an ornate design on it, a nickel, and your guess is as good as mine on the rest of it.
Oh yes, let me not forget the 1920 wheat penny that someone obviously had a great deal of anger toward.
Not a bad haul for a couple hours.
