I had just finished writing a piece about the awesomeness of my long T-handle shovel (my digging tool of choice) when coincidentally that same day I came upon an article titled “Carelessness or Ignorance” by Mark Schuessler in the May/June issue of American Digger, about the new “trend” of using long handled shovels.

Bill Cameron is a retired Metro North Mechanical Foreman, and has been a bottle digger and collector for over forty years. As past president of the Greenwich Antiques Bottle Collectors Club, he has lectured on bottle collecting and patent medicine at local churches and libraries. Besides bottles, he enjoys painting, writing, furniture restoration, fishing and clamming. Bill and his wife have three married sons and 2 granddaughters. My Review of “Dig Wars”
I checked out the new metal detecting show “Dig Wars” which premiered on the Travel channel, Wednesday, June 12th. It was refreshing to see a more realistic view of what we do. Below is my review, which responds to and coincides with Dick Stout’s review.
Detecting Diva in the Searcher Magazine
Last month I told you about Detecting Diva being in June issue of The Searcher Magazine. It is now official that I may post the article wherever my heart desires, and of course I chose my own site.
Thanks to our American ancestors who destroyed the Kings English a few centuries back, it might be a little odd to read as it was edited for a UK audience, but I’m sure you’ll get the idea.
