Tick tock-tick tock-tick tock….silence. Hmmm…the package the battery in my clock came in said they expired in April 2013. I realize that is shelf life, but I never thought the battery would die before the Task Force updated it’s web site.
I hear a lot of stuff, I’ve been told good things are happening and in the works. So I’m wondering….WHEN?
Jan 16th my inquiry to the Task Force is responded to “The Task Force is going to meet with the big wheels of the major Detecting Machine Manufactures some time in January or February.”
Jan 24th my inquiry to the Task Force is responded to ” We have a lot going on behind the scenes and will be updating the website after our upcoming meetings.”
Feb 28th blanket email to Task Force Members stating they would be updating Task Force members on a more frequent basis.
If you read or subscribe to Dick Stouts blog (www.stoutstandards.wordpress.com), you will see the back and forth between him and Avery Marder, the Task Force VP. They keep saying they will update….when?
No one responds to the Task Force Facebook page.
I related to Carter Pennington, the Task Force President, that it seems like the Task Force is some super secret organization. He denied it, and was happy to share their progress with me, so why can’t they update the rest of the world? How can they go around recruiting members for their organization, and then keep their members in the dark?
When the Task Force needed folks at their rallies in NYC, I was there, no questions asked, but if I want to find out whats going on with the Task Force I have to ask in an email, or wait for Dick Stout to piss off Avery Marder on his blog, and wait for a response.
This is just past the point frustrating, it’s moved into the realm of ridiculous.
