For about 4 years now, the gloves I use in the field have been pink camo Mechanix gloves. They were cool, they were comfortable, and if I bought a few pairs, they would last me through the entire season.
Unfortunately, the last 3 pairs I bought all split at the finger seams after a few outings, and on top of that, they’ve doubled, in price over the past year. So, rather than waste my money hoping the next pair would last, I decided to try something new.
I looked around a bit, and found these Tuff chix gloves on Amazon. They are made by Iron Clad, and seemed like a good deal, so I ordered a few pair.
Now I’m not going to write a long review on them, because, well, they are gloves, and how much can you really say about gloves?–They fit good, they wash well, keep my hands clean, and so far, have lasted a lot longer than the Mechanix brand. They are also less expensive, between $8 and $12 a pair, (depending on where you buy them), and they come in the color pink–Bonus! Not pink camo, but still pink cool.
I don’t know many women who would turn down anything that comes in the color pink, so I’m giving away a pair, just because I think they’re a great glove for detecting. They are pink, size Women’s Large, and guys please keep that in mind–while you are welcome to enter to win them, don’t go getting mad if you do win them–they are pink, you were warned.
